Privacy Policy

General Information

Thank you for your interest in our website. This privacy policy is intended to inform users of this website about the nature, scope, and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the website operator of the media project Bible to go (c/o Freie Christliche Gemeinde Aalen).

The website operator takes your data protection very seriously and treats your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory regulations. Definitions of the terms used (e.g., "personal data" or "processing") can be found in Art. 4 GDPR.

Server Log Files

We, the website operator or page provider, collect data about access to the website based on our legitimate interest (see Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f. GDPR) and store them as "server log files" on the website's server. The following data is logged:

The IP address is anonymized after 24 hours (the last octet is set to zero). Deletion then takes place after a maximum of 7 days. The log files are collected and stored to maintain server operations and for statistical analysis.

The server log files do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person. The data is stored for security reasons, e.g., to be able to resolve cases of abuse. If data must be retained for evidentiary reasons, it is excluded from deletion until the incident is finally resolved.

Collection and Processing of Personal Data

This website can generally be visited without providing any personal information. In this case, only the anonymized access data mentioned above is stored in the server log files. Personal data (such as name or email address) is not actively collected on this website, as we do not provide contact forms, comment functions, or registration forms.

If you contact us via email or using the contact details provided in the legal notice (Imprint), your details will be stored solely for the purpose of processing and answering your inquiry. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your explicit consent.

Data Processing Agreement

To ensure that your data is protected, a data processing agreement (AV-Vertrag) pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR has been concluded with the website host, Alfahosting GmbH (Edmund-von-Lippmann-Straße 13-15, 06112 Halle, Germany). Under this agreement, Alfahosting GmbH undertakes to comply with the obligations of a data processor.

When you click on one of these links or buttons, you leave our website and go directly to YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). User Rights, Deletion, and Right to Object

As a user, you have the right to request, free of charge, information about what personal data (e.g., from an email inquiry) has been stored about you. You also have the right to correct incorrect data, restrict processing, object, and delete your personal data, provided that this does not conflict with a statutory obligation to retain data. If you assume that your data has been processed unlawfully, you can file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
